There are always new kinds of Pokemon coming in Pokemon Go. Some of them come in the form of eggs, while others can only be caught through Raid Battles. There are many different methods of catching certain Pokemon in the beloved mobile game and depending on what type it is, trainers will have to learn how to adapt and put in the work needed to have the chance to encounter that Pokemon. Events are a common occurrence in Pokemon Go, so much so that there are always new events planned every month. There’s a lot for trainers to get in these events such as bonus experience points, legendary points, and even costumed Pokemon that they won’t get to see anywhere else. This is why it is important to be as active as possible and to know the latest events that are currently ongoing and being planned for the following months.
Some Pokemon Go events happen nearly every other month or so, while some have no chance of coming back to the game again. Most of the events that very rarely get reintroduced in Pokemon Go again are usually the ones that give out a different variant of a Legendary Pokemon or Shiny Pokemon. A prime example of this would be the Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto event that was held on February 20, 2021, and lasted for just 12 hours. During the event, players were able to catch the first 150 Pokemon that were originally released in their Shiny variants. This meant that all of the Kanto-only Pokemon were available as Shinies!
